"Coronation" is connected by a pattern of separate panels, with a crown-like scene cut into the back of the figure in place of an identifier.

While the dramatic crowning gives the image a tongue-in-cheek quality, the particular structure of the work is similar to that of Lego blocks, with the 'hats' being freely removable and replaceable. The fragility of identity and power is unrestrained in the decorative layers of the frame and the silent back.
