Mind The Gap

Introduction:

The gap that exists between art and life may be a perpetual contradiction for artists; it is sometimes a trap, sometimes an inspiration; the gap may push one towards the opposite shore of mediocrity, common sense, and no longer scepticism, but it likewise spawns the curiosity and impermanence that fights against it. Young artists are constantly wandering between these spans, searching for their own position, finding the meaning of survival in the seams from the vertical space in which they grow and survive.

There is a huge span of artistic expression in this era, and artists are travelling through different mediums and concepts, from oil on canvas, printmaking, tampere, photography, ink and wash, to electronic painting, people are constantly developing their own styles in their own ways, and this exhibition is an expression of their unique interpretations of life, times and art.
