"Monologues of the Times" draws on the style of traditional Indian miniature paintings to produce a painting style with the artist's own personal touch.

The artist has replaced the Urdu poetic text, which is supposed to recount the events of the day, with a musical score recorded from the sounds of the oven. In this way, the music of a tense and constricted time in a time of overflowing information is recounted.
